Invitation for Bids No. 26-008; Turf Sprinkler System Management and Maintenance

Bids will be received until 2:00 PM EST: July 31, 2025 by:

at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning July 16, 2025, through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B, 30 39M, and other applicable procurement statutes.

The Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management requires qualified contractors to maintain and manage the Parks Division and School property irrigation systems at various locations. The initial term of the Contract shall be for One (1) year, with Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. The contract is estimated at $150,000.00 annually. The City intends to award up to Three (3) contracts as a result of this bid.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by July 23, 2025 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
