BID DATE, TIME AND LOCATION: Lump Sum Bids signed and under seal, executed,and dated will be received in accordance with the following:DATE:THURSDAY, 9 APRIL 2 026LOCATION: Schaefer Architecture, Inc.257 North BroadwayWichita, KS 67202TIME:2:00 p.m. local time1. Bids (proposals) shall include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment andperforming the Work for the above described project in strict accordance with theBidding Documents.B. Offers submitted after the above time will be returned to the bidder unopened.C. Offers will be opened publicly immediately after the time for receipt of bids.1.02 INTENTA. The intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete theconstruction of (1) metal storage building for buses located behind (west) the Maize USD266 Maintenance Building at 4750 N. 119th St. W., Maize, KS 67101 for a StipulatedSum contract, in accordance with Contract Documents.B. Work shall be included under a Single Contract.C. Each General Contractor shall select the various sub-contractors and suppliers withwhom they wish to work.1. The Owner urges General Contractors to consider local vendors and sub contractorsin the bidding process.1.03 WORK IDENTIFIED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTSA. Work of this proposed Contract comprises b uilding construction and site development,including general construction and structural Work.1.04 CONTRACT TIMEA. Identify Contract Time to be Substantially Complete in the Bid Form. The completiondate in the Agreement shall be the Contract Time added to the commencement date.B. The Work shall be completed within thirty calendar days following the date of SubstantialCompletion, unless specifically agreed otherwise, in writing, on the Certificate ofSubstantial Completion.BID DOCUMENTS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS2.01 DEFINITIONSA.
