1411994448 (IFB) JEA Limestone Crushing Services

The scope of services includes, but is not limited to providing; the labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, and subcontracts necessary to crush limestone from 3” (some pieces may be larger) to a minimum of 1/2” at the JEA Northside Generating Station power plant site.

Scope of work includes taking 3” sized limestone once JEA receives it via vessel and crushing it JEA’s required size of no larger than 1/2”. Limestone will be offloaded to JEA’s onsite storage barn by JEA personnel. Delivered material will need to be processed onsite and then returned to the storage barn. Room exists external to the barn for handling and processing. Processing equipment may be set up inside the barn as well as space allows.

Processing must be able to accommodate two generating unit operation. At two-unit operation the limestone usage rate approaches 1400 tons per day (TPD).
