ITEM #1: QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:

Q1: There are typical details in the Contract Plans included in the bid package for Longitudinal Construction

Joint (B1-10) and a callout for repair note on 10 (B1-07), but it is not clear on the quantity for each bridge.

Should there be a specific bid item for this? If not, can you please specify the quantity, and which bid item

this is for?

A1: The Contract Plans include “Incidental Items Notes”, relevant to the Longitudinal Joint Repair. These

repairs should be considered incidental and associated with Pay Items #401-999 and #458-1-21. “The

quantity eligible for payment will be measured based on the completed and accepted work, encompassing

all tasks and components specified in the Contract Plans. Payment for Incidental Items are not specifically

covered in the individual pay items shall be included in the Contract unit price for bid items contained in

this Contract.” For bidder’s guidance only, we are providing the following estimates for the longitudinal

joint repairs, which again, are to be considered incidental to this project.

• St. Paul Drive Bridge #014065 – 1,472 LF

• San Domingo Boulevard Bridge #014070 – 605 LF

• Ingraham Boulevard Bridge #014072 – 605 LF

This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260098.

Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
