PUBLIC NOTICE
INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids will be received by the Borough of Hillsdale – 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, New Jersey 07642 on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, and then publicly opened and read aloud for:
EMERGENCY REPAIR OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS – BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE
All bids must be received at the time and date specified. No bids will be accepted after said hour.
Specifications and bid proposal forms may be obtained at the Borough Clerk’s Office, 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, NJ 07642, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. You may also email the Borough Clerk, Denise Kohan at dkohan@hillsdalenj.org to obtain a bid. Bids or proposals shall be made on the forms provided.
A certified check or cashier’s check made payable to the order of the Borough of Hillsdale, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the bidder.
The Borough of Hillsdale is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Hillsdale.
Successful contractor must be registered with the Division of Revenue, State of New Jersey for a Business Registration Certificate at the time of contract award.
If awarded a contract, your company/firm shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C 17:27.
The Borough Council has the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt.
The Borough reserves the right to reject any bid proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S. 40A:11-1, et seq. (Local Public Contracts Law) as
well as regulations set forth in the New Jersey Administrative Code and the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S. 10:5-31(Law Against Discrimination), N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. (affirmative action) as well as all other applicable laws.
Bid proposals must be placed in sealed envelopes addressed to the Borough of Hillsdale, 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, NJ 07642 and marked clearly on the outside of the envelope, lower left-hand corner:
“EMERGENCY REPAIR OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS – BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE”
