ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for an underground Electric, CCT, Water, and Sewer project will be received by Conway Corporation at its Engineering Services Office at 1320 South German Lane in Conway, Arkansas, until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21st, and then at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud for Oak Street – Locust to Front #21-132. The project will generally consist of furnishing and installation of approximately Electric/CCT: 2,500 LinFt. of 2 in. Schedule 40 PVC conduit, 240 LinFt. of 3 in. Schedule 40 PVC conduit, 70 - 2 in. Rigid Standard Steel Ells, 35 - 2 in. X 24 in. Radius Rigid Steel Ells, 6 – 3 in. Standard Steel Ells, 13 Street Light Foundations (14 ft. Pole), 17 – 13 in. X 24 in., X 18 in. Fibrecrete Junction Boxes; Water: 600 feet of 12” D.I.P., 260 feet of 8” D.I.P., 30 feet of 6” D.I.P., 165 feet of 2” Yelomine pipe, a 100’ dry bore under the Union Pacific railroad with 30” steel encasement and multiple connections to existing mains and services. Sewer: 85’ of 8” Epoxy lined D.I. sewer pipe, one manhole, and multiple connections to existing services.
Plans and Specifications and complete instruction to bidders for this project may be picked up at the Conway Corporation Engineering Building at #1320 South German, Conway, Arkansas. A $100.00 nonrefundable fee is required for the plans.
All bidders must be licensed in accordance with the requirements of the Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board including Act 150 of 1965, as amended, and must be legally qualified in all respects to conduct business in Arkansas. To qualify, bidders must provide a financial statement, a verifiable statement of experience and equipment schedule as more fully defined in the instructions to bidders.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form, subject to the conditions as provided in the information to bidders. The qualifying bidder must be able to provide a performance bond.
