Bid Detail26-088 - Lease & Service of Motorized Golf Carts at Franconia and Veterans’ Golf Courses

at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents can be requested through the Citys website: www.springfieldcityhall.com beginning on December 22, 2025. This IFB is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B section 5.
The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms to supply and deliver 75 carts to Franconia Golf Course and 75 carts to Veterans Golf Course to total 150 carts. Costs shall include drop off to each course for March 1, 2026 and pickup of all carts at each course on December 1, 2028, unless another date is agreed on by both parties. Carts shall comply with the listed specifications at a minimum. Base bid shall include full service for the above referenced period of time. It shall further include all insurance costs.
The City will award one Contract to the bidder that provides the lowest cost of the goods. The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain two (2) one-year renewal options, to be exercised at the Citys sole discretion. The contract is estimated to be for $120,000.00 per year.
All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement on or before January 6, 2026 by 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer or designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.
