NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Manchester, Connecticut, herein called the Town, acting by and through its Town Manager will receive sealed Bids for project Bid No. 24/25-79 SIDEWALK INSTALLATIONS ON KEENEY STREET FROM GARDEN GROVE RD TO BUSH HILL RD . Bids will be accepted via the Town's eProcurement Portal until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bids may be submitted prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.

Background

Work under this contract includes the construction of approximately 6,500 linear feet of new concrete sidewalk on Keeney Street in Manchester. It includes other appurtenant work such as excavation, backfill, lawn and driveway restoration, traffic control and pavement markings. It also includes the furnishing and installation of two rapid rectangular flashing beacon (RRFB) systems.

The Project Schedule for this project is projected to be completed within ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) WORKING DAYS (contract days).
