TOWN OF COLONIEThe Department of Public Works, Division of Latham WaterNotice To BiddersThe Town of Colonie (“Town”) invites bids for the following:RFB: Secondary Containment and Chemical Delivery Area Rehab at the MVWTP LWD II DB354Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing, Memorial Town Hall, Latham, NY 12110 untilApril 16, 2026 11:30 AM local time. At that time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.All bidders shall comply with the N.Y. Gen. Mun. Law §103.Beginning on March 25, 2026, the solicitation documents for this matter will be on file and publiclyexhibited at the Office of Purchasing, 534 New Loudon Road, Memorial Town Hall, Latham, NY 12110.Copies of said documents may be obtained at that address. Complete bid documents may also beavailable for download from the Empire State Purchasing Group’s web site athttp://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york.Bids shall be submitted at the time and place indicated in the Notice to Bidders and shall be enclosed inan opaque, sealed envelope. The opaque envelope shall be marked on the outside with the project titleand name and address of the bidder. The submission shall consist of the completed pages of thisdocument marked “TO BE SUBMITTED,” and any other required documents. The submission shall alsoinclude, if required in the Notice to Bidders, the bid security. If the bid is sent through the mail or otherdelivery system, the sealed envelope containing the bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with thenotation "BID ENCLOSED" on the face thereof AND the outer envelope shall be marked on the outsidewith the project title and name and address of the bidder.Each submitted proposal must be accompanied by (a) a certified check in the sum of 10% of the amountof the bid, drawn upon a national or state bank or trust company, to the order of the Town of Colonie,New York, or (b) a bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to 10% of the bid, conditioned that ifits bid is accepted, successful bidder will enter a contract for the same and that he will execute suchfurther security as may be required for the performance of the contract.At the execution of the anticipated contract, the Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performanceand labor and materials bond, and a payment bond equal to the full amount of the bid.The Town of Colonie reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids submitted.Please Note: The Town will host a meeting for all potential Bidders at 11:00 a.m. on Monday,March 30, 2026. Attendance at this meeting is strongly recommended for Bidders.
