Description:	The scope of work includes removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement and constructing new asphalt pavement, constructing slurry seal, and pavement grinding followed by the placement of an Asphalt Rubber Hot Mix (ARHM) overlay, as requested by the City. All materials and methods of construction shall conform to the special provisions provided in Attachment “B.” The usage of the services is on an as-needed basis; if there is no demand, then the services will not be requested. For each service request, the contractor and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and cost for that project using the unit costs submitted for each item. The City is seeking to contract only with individual firms that specialize in all the identified areas. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed under this contract agreement.
