Scope of Services
All prime contractors must hold a Citrus County School Board Certificate of Pre-qualification to bid on Citrus County School Board construction projects. Prime contractors must be pre-qualified by the Citrus County School Board prior to submitting a bid. Prime contractor’s bids must be within the bid limits specified on their pre-qualification certificate. For contractor pre-qualification information call the Citrus County School Board Facilities and Construction Department at 352/726-1931, ext. 2241.
Pre-bid Conference:

A. A mandatory pre-bid conference for Prime Contractors, and optional for sub-contractors, will be held at Citrus High School –meet in front office.

B. Conference will occur at 3:15 p.m. on 10/1/2026.

The Citrus County School Board reserves the absolute right to award the Bid to the lowest, responsive Bidder, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid, or to reject any and all Bids received based solely on the Board’s determination of the best interests of the School District.
