Overview

Summary

The Town of Hingham is seeking a qualified GIS Consulting firm to provide professional contractor services for GIS data and related deliverables. The contractor will cover a variety of GIS needs including, but not limited to, spatial analysis, data visualization, geodatabase maintenance and custom application development. The engagement between the Town and Contractor may be remote and/or in person with coordination requirements and may pertain confidentiality obligations.

The contract is intended to assist with the following Departments:

Assessor's Office

Building Department

Historical Department

Planning Department

Zoning Department

Background

The town is currently without an internal GIS system manager, and thus this work is required to update and maintain GIS records on parcel changes. Further work may be requested at the discretion of the town.

Anticipated contractual services, July 2025 - June 2026.
