Scope of Services
The State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) are part of the Florida Building Code. SREF requirements shall apply to construction, renovation, and remodeling of public educational facilities owned by Pinellas County School Board.


The purpose of this bid is to select a qualified Florida Licensed Plumbing “Contractor” and Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) testing certified to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to perform plumbing services for the school district. The repairs are not limited to the installation of PVC, steel pipe, copper pipe, copper tubing pipe valves and fittings. This includes various typical plumbing fixtures needed at various facilities, countywide per specifications:
1. Pinellas County Schools seeking Florida Plumbing Contractors to provide commercial services for emergency and nonemergency workorders countywide.
2. Contractors shall comply with all OSHA requirements and provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
3. Contractors shall own and have in good repair, all tools and equipment necessary to perform work related to their trade.
4. Contractor must have the (24/7) availability and respond within the designated time.
5. All bidders must be within a 50-mile radius of Pinellas County Schools district office.
