Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract
documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same
force and effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform
with the additions, deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM # 1 BID OPENING DATE CHANGE: The date has been changed to March 4, 2026.
ITEM # 2 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1: Can you please provide the specific specifications for the sheet piles?
A1: The sheet piling section is selected by the contractor. The section must have section properties that are equal to or
greater than the minimum required section properties shown in the "Steel sheet pile wall, cantilever data table"
shown on sheet S-1 of the contract plans. These are selected by comparing the suppliers data sheets to the
required section properties. The specifications for the sheet piling are per the FDOT 2024-25 Standard
specification for Road and Bridge Construction. The sheet pilling should be constructed per Section 455-9. The
chosen material for the sheet piling should be per section 962, Table 962-11 and the contract plans.
Q2: What is the maintenance period for this project?
A2: Once the project has been finished and accepted the County will provide the maintenance.
ITEM # 3 CORRECTION: Addendum No. 1 provided the incorrect information in regard to Gabion Rock. Please
disregard the previous answer and refer to the following:
Q1: What are the specifications for the material to be placed in the Gabion Baskets?
A1: The governing standard specifications are the Florida Department of Transportation 2024-25 Edition of the
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Refer to the key sheet) as modified by the Contract
Documents. The material specifications for Gabion Rock is per Section 530-2.3.4 Gabion Rock:

Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
