Project Description: Ada County (“County”) is requesting proposals from organizations that can provide professional assistance in planning, brokering, implementing and supporting Ada County’s employee benefit programs. Ada County will review proposals from organizations that can provide all requested services. Only organizations licensed to do business in Idaho will be considered.
Ada County government serves the local community and includes approximately 2,000 active benefit-eligible employees and a small population of retirees and COBRA participants. The Human Resources/Employee Benefits Department (“HR/benefits”) is located at:

Ada County offers a generous, competitive, and comprehensive benefit package designed to provide regular full-time and part-time employees and their families with a wide range of benefit options. The County also offers retirees who meet the eligibility requirements continuation of their coverage on the retiree medical and/or dental plans. Ada County prioritizes the physical, mental, emotional and financial wellbeing for its employees as represented in the benefit package offered.
This RFP is not a request or an authorization to approach insurance companies or other underwriting sources on behalf of Ada County. Ada County will not accept insurance market contacts or solicitations regarding this RFP.
