Description: The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is requesting qualifications from contractors authorized to do business in the State of Virginia, to serve as the Design-Builder for the construction of a 5,200 square foot Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) to replace the existing Singers Glen Community Center facility. The new Community Center will be located at 9434 Singers Glen Rd, Singers Glen, VA 22850. The County seeks a qualified partner capable of providing comprehensive design, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning services under a single contract to deliver a high-quality facility that meets the needs of the community while maintaining budget and schedule objectives. The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit information that will enable the County to determine which Offerors: (a) are best qualified to successfully execute the design and construction of the project and (b) will be invited to submit proposals in response to the County’s Request for Proposals (RFP).
