Description: Invitation to Bid Chemicals For Use at the Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants Proposals are due by 2:00:00 PM (PST), June 9, 2026 The City of Ashland is seeking bids for nine (9) chemicals for use at the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants as specified in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). Bidders are encouraged to bid on any number of chemicals they can provide as specified. The City’s intent is to award an individual 12-month contract for each chemical to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid substantially complies with the requirements and criteria set forth in the Invitation to Bid. The 12-month contract term will begin on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027. Bid documents may be downloaded from the OregonBuys web procurement system. Any addenda that may be issued relating to this ITB will be available from OregonBuys, and potential bidders are cautioned to continuously monitor the site for updates and addenda. Bidders are now able to submit their bids and/or responses online. Bids may also be delivered in hard copy form to the City in accordance with the requirements outlined in the ITB. All questions must be asked through OregonBuys where questions and answers will be available to all bidders. Bids must be received by 2:00:00 PM (PST), June 9 2026, either digitally by submission through OregonBuys or mailed to 20 E. Main Street, Ashland OR 97520. The bids will be opened at the time and date of the deadline, and the City will record and make available the identities of the bidders. Bids will not be available for inspection until after the evaluation process has been completed and the Notice of Intent to Award has been issued.
