Summary

Dane County is currently seeking projects that will provide fair housing education and outreach services and report on the number, basis, and resolution of fair housing complaints within the participating municipalities in the Dane County Urban County Consortium or at agencies/organizations that provide services to participating municipalities. As of 2026, there are 59 participating municipalities.

The maximum amount of funding for the Fair Housing project area is approximately $ 10,000 and it is expected that only one agency will be funded in this category.

The maximum request amount per application is $ 10,000 .

Dane County requires that all applicants complete the CDBG application in its entirety and electronically sign at the end of the questionnaire. Failure to do so may result in the application being ineligible for funding and may not be scored.

Background

Annually, Dane County can use up to $10,000 of the CDBG allocated funds toward Fair Housing type projects. The maximum amount of funding for the Fair Housing project area in 2027 is $10,000 and it is expected that one or more applicants will be funded in this category.
