Description: The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract with a contractor to perform custodial services at specific public buildings within the City.  The term of the contract shall be one (1) year with up to an additional three (3) years of continued service that is mutually agreed upon by both parties. Performance and Payment Bonds will not be required for this contract.  Insurance and endorsements will be required. The work under this RFP consists of a vendor providing custodial services for the City at various public buildings to include the Municipal Building, Fire Station, Police Station, the Styker Building, the Transportation Center, the Community Building, and Quarterpath Recreational Center.  The types of services are described in Section VIII, and the specific work at each location is defined in the Special Terms and Conditions Publication Date/Time: 12/16/2025 11:30 AM Closing Date/Time: 1/21/2026 2:00 PM Submittal Information: 401 Lafayette Street Williamsburg Municipal Building 2nd Floor, Public Works Department Williamsburg Bid Opening Information: 1/21/2026 @ 2:00pm LOCAL TIME Pre-bid Meeting: 12/7/2025 10:00AM Local Contact Person: Jamie Clark, City Engineer, at jclark@williamsburgva.gov Business Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 Qualifications: Any Offeror wishing to submit a proposal and be considered for this solicitation shall have had a minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in providing these services. The vendor shall provide examples of other similar contracts and/or work to the CITY as part of their RFP submittal.
