Summary

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than Friday, February 27, 2026 at 5:00 pm (local prevailing time).

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract with one or more qualified Contractors for the provision of a variety of truck chassis with approximate Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR) ranging from 35,000 to 66,000 pounds (lbs.) to the City's Department of General Services, on an 'as needed basis', in accordance with the requirements and specifications of this RFP.
