Bids must be submitted in duplicate in asealed envelope and labeled “Fox River Water Reclamation District - Support Building Additions andRenovations – Phase 1”, the Date and Time of the Bid Opening, the Contractor’s Name and Address,and their Trade Package. All Contractors shall use the bid day label provided with their BidForm.SCOPE OF WORKThe project involves work at 3 separate buildings for the Fox River Water Reclamation District:Main Control Building (Building C) – North Sewage Treatment Plant, 777 Cliford Avenue, Elgin, IL60123: Includes interior renovations and a 550 SF addition for Break Room, Training Area, andKitchenette. Also includes associated site improvements.Administration Office Building (1950) (Building D) – Dana Drive, Elgin, IL 60123: Includes interiorrenovations and a 585 SF addition for a new Break/Training Room and Locker Room areas. Alsoincludes associated site improvements.Administrative Office Building (Building E) – 1957 N La Fox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177:Includes interior renovations and a 3,945 SF addition for new Offices, Training Room, Workspaces, andBoard Room. Also includes associated site improvements.INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERSProspective bidders should contact Kari Christensen at Lamp Incorporated (kchristensen@lampinc.netor 847-741-7220 x315) to be placed on the bid list. Bidders will then be granted access to SmartBid todownload drawings for free. Lamp Incorporated will be utilizing SmartBid for the entire bidding process,including addenda, so all interested bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to access SmartBid.All Contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement onfile, updated within the last year. Contractors’ qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated’soffice by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2025.A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the Bid Form. Thesuccessful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in anamount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and Certificate ofInsurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract.
