Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for purchase and installation of the following: Neevel Levee Cougar Creek Fish Passage UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2025 At which time and place the bids will be opened (virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested persons are invited to watch the virtual bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (WCFCZD) requests bids for the Neevel Levee Cougar Creek Fish Passage project, CRP No. 720010. This project provides for the replacement of an existing culvert and floodgate with a 6 foot by 6 foot concrete box culvert and floodgate where Cougar Creek (aka Wiser Lake Creek) is conveyed through the Neevel Levee, installation of Engineered Log Jams (ELJs), levee improvements, habitat enhancement, and other associated work located near Northwest Drive, Ferndale, Washington, as further described in the bid documents. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. The WCFCZD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. The WCFCZD encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
