Description: The City of Woodstock, Illinois, invites innovative and experienced developers to submit expressions of interest for the transformative redevelopment of the Die Cast Redevelopment Site - a 9-acre opportunity in the heart of Downtown Woodstock. The site, located adjacent to the Metra Rail Station and positioned within one of the Midwest's most charming and historically rich downtown districts, offers a rare chance to create a premier mixed-use development in a rapidly growing suburban market. The planned Metra Warming Station will enhance commuter convenience, while the Woodstock Metra Railyard Project is expected to increase service capacity, potentially boosting ridership and accessibility for residents and visitors. Woodstock is embarking on a bold new era of growth, leveraging its historic assets, expanding infrastructure, and a pro-development municipal approach to create a thriving destination for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. The City owns the Die Cast site, which is located within an established TIF District and is intended to be included in a future new TIF District.
