OPAL PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

FCWSA Contract No.: 25-C-04-0258

Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority (FCWSA), the Owner, invites qualified contractors to

submit sealed Bids for the aforementioned project. Sealed Bids will be received until the date and time

given below, by one of the two methods presented below, at which time they will be opened and read aloud.

Owner will first read aloud the Bids that were properly received using the Mail/Hand Delivery Method.

Second, Owner will then open Bids that were properly received using the Electronic Method and read them

aloud.

 Mail/Hand Delivery Method: On premises at the Owner’s office at the address noted below.

 Electronic Method: Invitation for Bids will be posted to the eVA site where Bidders may submit

electronically their Bids to the Owner through the eVA site. Bidders who use the eVA site must

register through that site. The eVA site is managed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department

of Purchase and Supply. Owner does not maintain the eVA site or have any input or control over

the registration process.

Bids received after the date and time given below will be returned to the Bidder unopened. The procurement

process and the performance of the Contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Virginia Public

Procurement Act (VPPA).

* Bidders are requested to include the Project name in the subject line of Email.

The following is a general description of the Project:

 Develop one remote groundwater well site generally consisting of installation of submersible well

pump and riser pipe, pitless adapter, treatment building, generator, site piping, fence, site lighting,

access road, and associated electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and site work.

 Furnish and install approximately 6,325 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main and 45

linear feet of 24-inch casing pipe by jack and bore, all with associated appurtenances.

 Furnish and install one 500,000-gallon 157-foot total height single pedestal elevated storage tank,

tank foundation, access drive, and landscape screening.
