Introduction

The City of Gallatin is requesting sealed bids for the purchase of Two (2) Metal Buildings for

the Gallatin Police Department. Bids must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday,

June 9, 2026, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Metal Buildings.”

Vendors are invited to submit bids for Two (2) Metal Buildings. Bids must meet all

Full Description

This building features a boxed eave roof style with 14-gauge framing, 3/12 roof pitch, 6-inch

roof overhangs, standard trusses, and 5-foot frame spacing. The building includes fully enclosed

left and right-side walls with horizontal siding, fully enclosed front and back-end walls with

horizontal siding, one 36" x 80" walk-in door, one 36" x 36" window, and one 10' x 10' roll-up

door with square (traditional) corner style. The structure includes gray roofing and wainscot,

white trim and roll-up door, and taupe siding.

Full Description

This building features a vertical roof style with 14-gauge framing, standard trusses, 3/12 roof

pitch, 6-inch roof overhangs, and 5-foot frame spacing. The structure includes fully enclosed left

and right-side walls with top 6-panel horizontal siding and J-trim on sides and ends. The front

end includes a gable end with horizontal siding and J-trim, while the back end includes an

extended gable end with 6-panel horizontal siding and J-trim. The building is finished with a

white roof, beige trim, and burgundy siding.

Evaluation of Proposals

The City of Gallatin will award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder

meeting specifications, quality, and performance standards per the Municipal Purchasing Act of

1983. Award criteria include:

Contract Award

The City of Gallatin reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities. The

contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria. If the lowest bidder is unavailable

when needed, the city may proceed with the next lowest bidder.
