NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS

FROM PRE-QUALIFIED GENERAL CONTRACTORS

The Village of Libertyville announces that it will be soliciting proposals for the New Police Department to be

located at 200 E. Cook Rd., Libertyville, IL 60048 from four (4) pre-qualified General Contractors. This solicitation is

limited to the Village’s four (4) pre-qualified firms listed below; proposals from non-prequalified firms will not be

accepted and will be returned unopened.



PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project will include demolition of the existing police station (≈26,300 sf) and the construction of a

new police station at the same location (≈ 49,500 sf). The police station will vacate the building during the

construction process.



pre-qualified General Contractors directly with questions regarding scope, bidding, and participation. The

Village will not provide any third-party copies of or information related to the bid documents or respond

to any questions or information requests. All such inquiries shall be directed only to the four (4) pre-

qualified firms listed above.

The Village of Libertyville encourages the participation of Local Businesses, Disadvantaged Business

Enterprises (DBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) in the

performance of the Work. While no minimum level of Local/DBE/MBE/WBE participation is required for

this Project, Bidders have been strongly encouraged to consider soliciting from and utilizing such firms

where practicable.


