Description

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is conducting market research to find any potential small businesses that can provide the Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) services of Precision Pressure Standard, Model 3689A equipment, in support of our nation's Naval mission. In accordance with RFO FAR 15.101(c), the Government does not intend to award a contract based on the sources sought notice or otherwise pay for the information requested and responses will be treated as information only and not as a proposal. This notice is for market research purposes only.

Please review the attached Statement of Work and support documents for details of the upcoming requirement.

• Calibration service requirements including any repairs for the Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) of Precision Pressure Standard, Model 3689A.


• Services to be performed at vendor’s facility.

*Later, an actual solicitation may be posted to the Government Point of Entry, GPE, at SAM.gov with an official Solicitation number, RFQ Form, and Performance Work Statement. The GPE is dependent upon responses received to this sources sought notice.

The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of accomplishing the required work outlined in the attached Statement of Work under NAICS Code 334513. All interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Only those Responders that can meet the following criteria should respond to this Sources Sought Notice:

1. Entity can meet ALL specifications outlined in the attached DRAFT documents.


2. Entity has an active CAGE Code, and current registration in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov).


3. Entity does NOT appear on the Excluded Parties List

If your organization has the potential capacity to accomplish this requirement, responses should include the following information:
