Questions and Answers
Question 1:
The CY quantity called out on the bid form is 57 CY, but with the dimension
and table provided, the quantity seems to be higher. Please advise if the CY
quantity called out on the bid form is correct.
Answer 1:
The bid form has been revised. There are now 113 cubic yards of concrete retaining
wall. See Addendum No. 3, Item No. 1.1
Question 2: For the Pavement markings, the bid form is missing numerous items, like
the stop sign, parking lot striping, etc., would there be a revision on the bid
form in include these items?
Answer 2:
The bid form has been revised. There are now two additional line items in the Site
Concrete section of the Bid Form- one for the proposed Stop sign and one for 24-
inch-wide pavement markings. See the bid form for quantities. See Addendum
No. 3, Item No. 1.2 and 1.3.
Question 3:
There are numerous items that the owner is purchasing and Contractor is
installing, will the owner provide a specific duration of delivery for the pre-
fab items, or this will be not counted on the project duration?
Answer 3: The contractor is to coordinate these timelines with the appropriate vendors.
Question 4: Will the contractor be required to provide a right-of-way permit while
working on the street making the utilities connection
Answer 4:
Yes, there is work proposed in the ROW and therefore a Right-of-Way permit will
be required.
Question 5: For the Corworth Restrooms, there is not a line item for the prep-work on
the bid form, would this be the responsibility of the contractor, or the
Corworth Restroom provider?

Answer 5:
The bid form has been revised. There is now an additional lump sum line item in
the General Conditions and Site Work section of the Bid Form. Reference
previously issued “Client Scope of Work” document from Corworth for this lump
sum figure. See Addendum No. 3, Item No. 1.4.
Question 6: Is there a CAD file that the City can provide, there are some discrepancies
between phase 1 and phase 2 grading.
Answer 6:
CAD file is provided after bid has been awarded. The final grading plan in Phase
2 is designed to function as the ultimate grading condition for the site. The parking
and sidewalk elevations are provided in Phase 1.
Question 7: Is a compliance plan required for this solicitation, and if so, please provide
the required forms needed?
Question 7: The City of Lakeway does not require a MBE/WBE Compliance Plan.
Please see Addendum No. 3, Item No. 2.0.
Question 8: For the 6-Station Backshot system there was no representative information
provided in the material schedule.
Answer 8:
