MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF MARINE RESOURCESNOTICE OF INTERNSHIP POSITIONSThe Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) will accept applications until 10:00a.m. on April 16, 2026 for the purpose of hiring interns for the Coastal and Marine ResourcesInternship Rotational Program.RFA# 3140004531The minimum qualifications for these positions include:• Education: Must possess or be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in natural resourcemanagement, wildlife biology, environmental science, environmental education, ecology,marine science, biology, botany, geography, forestry, or a related field from an accreditedfour-year college or university. If degree is in progress, the candidate must have at least 32hours of college credit. As part of the application, please provide a copy of your transcript(unofficial copy is acceptable).• Experience: Please include any training or skills related to this position in yourapplication.• Other: Must possess a valid driver’s license (Mississippi residents must have a Mississippidriver’s license). MDMR will verify the driver’s license.The internship positions pay $15.00 per hour and are for a maximum of 28 hours per week.
