Contact InformationType Invitation to Bid Status Issued Number 2026-0015 (Turnberry Lane and Thomas Court Reconstruction Project) Issue Date & Time 6/30/2026 03:30:00 PM (CT) Close Date & Time 7/14/2026 10:00:00 AM (CT) Question Cut Off Date 7/8/2026 12:00:00 PM (CT) Notes The proposed improvements consist of reconstructing approximately 480 lineal feet of 31’ wide existing concrete pavement with new 6” (six) inch Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement on a drainable subbase with subdrains on Turnberry Lane and Thomas Court as shown on the plans. Included with this project are the removal and replacement of driveway approaches, partial reconstruction of sidewalks, storm sewer intake reconstruction, storm sewer intake adjustments, sodding, erosion control, traffic control, and other work related to reconstructing this street.
The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall commence work no later than the date to begin work set forth in a Notice to Proceed from the City or its authorized representative, to the Contractor. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa.
All work on this contract shall commence on or after July 22 nd , 2026, as weather permits. All work on this contract shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the agreed upon start date, or by October 15, 2026, whichever comes first. The beginning and completion dates will be included in and made part of the contract between the successful bidder and the City. Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be charged for every day past the completion date.
