VILLAGE OF NORTHBROOK

2026 CRACK SEALING SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Village of Northbrook that sealed bids will be received for roadway crack

sealing services which will include routing of asphalt pavement cracks, cleaning of cracks, and provision of crack

sealant compound. The contract price is $25,000 for the 2026 construction season with optional extensions for

2027, 2028 not to exceed $25,000.00 per year. The project includes improvements within the Village of

Northbrook, Illinois.

Complete digital project bidding documents will be available online at www.questcdn.com on Tuesday, February

24, 2026 at 10:00AM local time upon receipt of payment of a $22 non-refundable fee. Access to the project bid

package is obtained by visiting the website and inputting Quest project #10084821 on the website’s Project Search

by the Owner.

Said sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 am, local time, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at the office of Kelly

Hamill, Director of Public Works, 655 Huehl Road, Northbrook, IL 60062, at which time all Bidder's Proposals

will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS

130/1 et seq. and Employment of Illinois Works on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/). Bids may not be withdrawn

for a period of ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees.

Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmissions or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and

time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder.

The Village of Northbrook reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities or

informalities in the bidding process or in any Bidder’s Proposal and to award the contract in a manner best serving

the interest of the Village. The bidder’s attention is called to the Village’s policy of not allowing the procedure

of trailing lien waivers.
