Description: Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of various improvements in the Influent Pump Station at the City of Sycamore Wastewater Treatment Plant. These improvements include: · Rehabilitation of the existing mechanical screen and washer/compactor · New mechanical screen and washer/compactor · Removal and replacement of (4) influent slide gates · Removal and replacement of the potable/non-potable water system (including service sink and electric water heater) · Removal and replacement of the HVAC system · Removal and replacement of the lighting system · Replacement of (2) interior doors and (1) exterior door · New autosampler system · Removal and replacement of the 800 kW diesel generator (Alternate 1) · Painting of the building interior, and other miscellaneous items of work. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference.
