Sealed bids for ___Olive Blvd Intersection Improvements - MoDOT Project No. SL0181 / S503078

will be received at: 1140 Dielman Rd, St. Louis, MO 63132 until 10:00 o'clock A.M. (CST) on the 13th day

of January 2026, and at that time will be publicly opened and read. All bids shall be submitted on paper in

the form of the bid documents.

The proposed work, hereinafter called the work, includes:

Lane widening, road resurfacing, drainage improvements, signal improvements, and site grading.

All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing

hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor

and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. The DBE Goal for

this project is 0%.

The City of Olivette hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered

into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically

disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and

will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national

origin in consideration for an award.”

Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects provide a 10-Hour

OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial

Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the

construction project.

A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
