Description: Gaston County, NC is requesting sealed bids for North Belmont Park Water Supply project. The purpose of this project is to extend approximately 3,841 linear feet of 10-inch PC 350 DIP waterline along Hickory Grove Road (SR 2000) from Lane Road (SR 2085) to Old Hickory Grove Road (SR 2050) and approximately 4,860 linear feet of 10-inch PC 350 DIP waterline to 2043 Old Hickory Grove Road and approximately 942 LF of 10-inch PC 350 DIP waterline along the front of the park on Hickory Grove Road (SR 2000). This project also includes forty five 3/4" service taps for properties wishing to connect to the waterline, as well as, a new 2” service line to the N Belmont Park; associated appurtenances, valves, fittings; and erosion and sediment control measures. The project will be financed with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).
