Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals will be received by (and all bids should be mailed or delivered to) the Department of Aviation SEALED BID for the California Redwood Coast - Humboldt County Airport County of Humboldt Department of Aviation 3561 Boeing Avenue McKinleyville, California, 95519 until 2:00 p.m., PDT, May 21, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened by the Department of Aviation of the County of Humboldt at a public meeting located at the upstairs conference room in the Airport Terminal Building at 3561 Boeing Avenue, McKinleyville, California for performing work as follows: RELOCATE TAXIWAY A AND TAXIWAY A LIGHTING AIP NO. 3-06-0010-060-2024 | LOCHNER NO. 22795 The award of this project is contingent upon a grant offer from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Contract award, if awarded, will be based on the lowest responsible bid total price. Bids are required for the entire work as described herein: General Work Description: Provide all labor, materials, methods, processes, implements, tools, machinery, equipment, transportation, permits, services, utilities, and all other items necessary to complete the Work. The Work consists of the rehabilitation of relocating Taxiway A and Taxiway A Lighting at California Redwood Coast - Humboldt County Airport in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated Construction Cost: $14,250,000 Contract Time: 140 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: $2,750 per Calendar Day Plans, Special Provisions and Proposal Forms may be viewed at the Humboldt County Department of Aviation, 3561 Boeing Avenue, McKinleyville, California, 95519, at area plan centers and on the County’s website at: http://humboldtgov.org/Bids.aspx .
