Sealed bids from licensed contractors for construction of the Water Distribution Line Replacement and Rehabilitation Project in West Helena, Arkansas, will be received by The City of Helena-West Helena located at 226 Perry Street, Helena, AR 72342 until 2:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, 25 June 2026, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists primarily of 22,350 L.F. of 2” DR-11 HDPE Directional Bore Water Main, 85 Fire Hydrant Assemblies (Including Valve), Inserta-Valves of various sizes, and Other Associated Items Instructions to Bidders, ACEDP grant requirements, Delta Regional Authority Grant Requirements, Bid and Contract Forms, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined and obtained ($150.00 cost per set obtained) at the office of Smith & Weiland, Surveyors and Engineers, Inc. located at 728 Cherry Street, Helena, AR 72342.
A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held per the instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Package.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with State law.
