ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

2026 PAVEMENT MARKINGS

1. General Information

The Town of Goffstown, NH is soliciting price proposals for providing Line Striping and

pavement markings in the Town of Goffstown during the 2026 calendar year. Unless

otherwise noted in the scope of work or on the bid sheet, line striping shall be provided

during the contract period May 1, 2026 – November 15, 2026. The Town reserves the

right to, at its sole discretion, award for up to 3 years or extend this contract with the

selected Contractor for all, or a portion of the scope of work herein plus changes

related thereto (if any), for up to two (2) additional years after expiration of the initial

contract term.

Equipment is to include experienced operator and fuel and be in good operating

condition capable of performing the work as required. Downtime for maintenance and

repairs will not be chargeable to the Town.

Paint materials shall meet the requirements of NHDOT Standard Specifications 708

and application must meet the provisions of NHDOT Specifications 632 section 3.2.4

and will be verified by Town inspectors by confirming the application of 22 gallons of

paint and 176 lbs of glass beads per 4 inch line mile. Contractors Equipment must

meet NHDOT Specifications 632 section 3.2.1

Payment for line striping will be made per linear foot. The following approximate

amounts are stated below, however variations in the stated amounts may be

necessary at the discretion of the Department of Public Works.

a. 55 Miles of Double Yellow Lines

b. 2 Miles of Single Yellow Lines

c. 45 Miles of Single White Fog Lines

d. 15,000 Feet of 12” White Crosswalk Lines

e. 10,000 Feet of 4” White Parking Lines

f. 25 ADA Parking Space Stencils

g. 100 Lane Arrow Stencils

h. 20 Sharrow Stencils

i. 25 Yield Lines

j. 6 No Parking Stencils

2. Insurance

Contractor will present on the date of execution a certificate of insurance evidencing

that the Contractor has purchased insurance policies conforming to the following

minimum limits of liability:

a) General (Comprehensive) Liability

3. Indemnification

Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Town for any injuries or

damages from performance of this contract by Contractor.

4. Bid Submission

All proposals must be submitted on the bid form in a sealed envelope, clearly marked

on the outside with the words “2026 Pavement Markings” and received prior to 1:00

p.m. on Tuesday May 5, 2026 at the Select Board Office, 16 Main Street, Goffstown,

NH 03045 and will be opened and publicly read at that time.

The Town of Goffstown reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as well

as waive any informalities in the best interest of the Town or to cancel or otherwise

modify scopes of work whenever budgetary or other considerations make it prudent

for the Town to do so.
