C26-0030Sealed bids will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, by mail or in person in the office ofthe City Clerk, 1st Floor, 100 McMonan Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan 48060 until 3 :00 p.m. onThursday June 25, 2026 and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read inMeeting Room101 of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center.JOB DESCRIPTION:The Work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for road reconstructionincluding pavement removal, utility replacement, resurfacing asphalt pavement, storm sewer, and lawnrestoration along Conner Street between Military Street and Electric Avenue as shown on the Drawings orspecified in the Project Manual.Bidding documents including drawings and project manual contract documents, including instruction tobidders forn1, agreement and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the MichiganInter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, Located athttps://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on Thursday June 11, 2026. All Bidders shall obtain acomplete set of bid documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port Huron via MITN.A certified check payable to the City ofPort Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and asurety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe bid, shall be submitted with each bid. Nobid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. Allbids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City ofPort Huron for that purpose.The City ofPort Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or inegularities inthe bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests. Thesuccessful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory perfonnance, labor and materials bonds,maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates.All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors biddingon City ofPort Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders. Contractor must comply with theCity of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance.
