Description: Utah County is seeking proposals from qualified attorneys, law firms, or groups of attorneys to provide indigent defense and other applicable services under contract with the County. The Fourth District Court of Provo consists of ten separate district court judges. Proposals may be submitted to provide indigent defense services for a single district court judge, more than one district court judge, or for all ten district court judges. In addition, proposals may be submitted for indigent defense in cases before the Fourth District Juvenile Court and the Utah County Justice Court. Proposals may also be submitted to provide indigent services for appeals in criminal and juvenile delinquency cases and for Fourth District Civil Commitment hearings. In addition, proposals may be submitted for individuals interested in being included in a pool of attorneys willing to provide indigent defense in the district courts for individuals charged with aggravated murder that carries the potential for the death penalty. The County may enter a contract with a single firm or with multiple attorneys or firms for indigent defense services for the following courts or assignments: �Fourth District Court, Provo �Fourth District Juvenile Court �Utah County Justice Court �Fourth District Civil Commitments Hearings �Appeals in criminal and juvenile delinquency cases �Aggravated Murder (member in a pool of attorneys who wish to be considered forappointment in cases involving aggravated murder that carries the potential for the deathpenalty)
