Project Description

CITY OF BLOOMINGTON – FLEET GARAGE FACILITY

The City of Bloomington will receive sealed lump sum bids until 11:00 A.M. January 15th, 2026 through the Bids and Tenders web portal. Bid documents will not be accepted in any other location or format. Bid documents sent directly to the City of Bloomington will be returned unopened and not considered for award. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud during a live WebEx meeting immediately after the specified closing time. A link to the bid opening can be obtained by emailing purchasing@bloomingtonmn.gov . All bids submitted are to be valid for sixty (60) calendar days.

SCOPE OF WORK DESCRIPTION:
The scope of work for this Project shall include, but not be limited to contracts for:

COMPLETION TIME: August 6th, 2027.

PRE-BID MEETING:
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 8:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 at Bloomington Public Works, Training Room 1700 W. 98th Street Bloomington, MN 55431. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting to become familiar with the project.

BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING:
Bids must be submitted on the Bid Submittal Form provided in accordance with the Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications as prepared by JLG Architects.

Bidders shall use complete sets of the Bid Documents in preparing their Bids. The City assumes no responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents.

Oral, facsimile, email, hard copy, or telephone Proposals are considered invalid and will not receive consideration.
