Project Bid Received By & Opening Information:	NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that electronic proposals will be received online only , until 2:00 P.M., on Friday, January 10, 2025, through the City of Burnsville’s online electronic bid system (QuestCDN). At that time, representatives of the City of Burnsville will open the bids publicly and post the results.

Description:	Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following work: The City of Burnsville anticipates purchasing 230,000 lbs., more or less, of liquid Blended Phosphate (35% w/w active chemical, SG = 1.300, 70% of active chemical as polyphosphate, and 30% active chemical as orthophosphate). The Liquid Blended Phosphate Supplier (Supplier) shall furnish and deliver product for the time period as noted in the Chemical Supply General Requirements Section. The contract may be extended in future years as noted in Chemical Supply General Requirement sections. Successful bidders will fill and sign Phosphate Bid Form in appendix A in addition to filling out the bid tab. Digital copies of the Contract Documents can be obtained at www.questcdn.com or www.burnsvillemn.gov/bids. The Quest CDN project number is 9472992. Bidders can download the Contract Documents for $42 by searching for the project on the QuestCDN website’s Project Search page or selecting the Engineering/Public Work Bid link and then the project on the Burnsville website. Bidders can also view the Contract Documents at either website free of charge. For this project we will accept only online electronic bids through QuestCDN. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety 2000 using project # 9472992. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The Council will consider such bids in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
