Description: The City of Charleston, South Carolina has a need for Dock and Marine Structure Inspection and Maintenance and is issuing this Request for Proposals for Specialty Marine Contractors licensed by the South Carolina Contractor’s Licensing Board.    Qualified Marine Contractors shall have at least 7 years of continuous experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining all types of docks, including floating and fixed pier structures. Qualified Specialty Marine Contractors shall also have Longshoreman’s insurance for employees working on the navigable waters of the United States or in the adjoining areas, including piers, docks, terminals, wharves, and those areas used in loading and unloading vessels.
