Project Involves New Construction Proposals From General Contractors Specialty Contractors Type of Facility Municipal/Government Posted in NY Location Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14209 Estimate $1,750,000.00 Description The Work of this project provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment and plant, and the performing of all Work in accordance with these specifications and drawings, with exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project. The project shall rehabilitate the cast in place concrete tunnel walls for the underground section of the track. Multiple repair types have been identified for size and severity of cracking. Work shall include, but not be limited to: • Crack injection utilizing epoxy for dry cracks. • Crack injection utilizing polyurethane for crack with active water leakage. • Curtain Grouting for high frequency cracks with active water leakage. • Isolated grouting for isolated cracks with active water leakage. • Repairs of spalled Concrete using Class D repair. • Providing weepholes to address water pressure buildup and divert water to the existing drainage system. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the Work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is 360 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified. Refer to Specification Section 01 11 00 for all milestones and associated liquidated Damages. The MWBE (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises) and SDVOB (Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business) Goals are as follows: MBE 0%, WBE 7% and SDVOB 3%.
