ADDENDUM #1 - ATHLETIC FIELD MARKING PAINT – ANNUAL CONTRACT

To: All Interested Quoters

Quoters are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the above named quote documents. The following

items are issued to add to, modify, and clarify the quote documents. These items shall have the same force and effect as the

original quote documents. Quote Forms, to be submitted on the specified date, shall conform with the additions, deletions and

revisions listed herein.

ITEM #1

DELETE QUOTE FORM: Please delete Quote Form beginning on Page 4 of the quote package and add the

attached REVISED QUOTE FORM that is attached to this addendum to the quote package.

NOTE TO BIDDERS: Please make sure REVISED QUOTE FORM, ADDENDUM #1, are used when submitting the quote.

Otherwise quote will be deemed non-responsive for incorrect quote form submittal.

ITEM #2

ADD: “The County retains the right to award this bid in whole or in part, whichever is in the best interest of the County”

DELETE / REPLACE: ESTIMATED QUANTITIES: The exact quantities of athletic field marking paint aerosol

cans cannot be determined at this time. The following amount(s) are given for quoters guidance only. It is

estimated that 4,000 twenty (20) ounce aerosol cans shall be required during a one (1) year period; however,

no minimum amount is guaranteed or implied. This quote award may result in similar quantities of purchases;

however, this is not guaranteed. Purchase Orders shall be issued on an "as required" basis.

DELETE: It is estimated that 4,000 twenty (20) ounce aerosol cans shall be required during a one (1)

REPLACE: It is estimated that 4,800 WHITE and 2,400 BLUE for a total of 7,200 twenty (20) ounce

aerosol cans shall be required during a one (1) year period…

ITEM #4

ADD:

ARITHMETIC DISCREPANCIES: For the purpose of initial evaluation of bids, the following will be utilized in resolving

arithmetic discrepancies found on the face of the bid forms submitted by the bidder:

A.

Obviously misplaced decimal points will be corrected.

B.

In case of discrepancy between unit price and extended price, the unit price will govern. Apparent errors in extension

will be corrected.

Apparent errors in addition of lump sum and extended prices will be corrected.

For the evaluation purposes, the County will proceed on the assumption that the bidder intends its bid be evaluated on the

basis of the unit prices, extensions, and totals arrived at by resolution of arithmetic discrepancies (above). The bid will be so

reflected on the bid tabulation.

Quoters are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their quote forms. All other terms and conditions of th

original quote and contract documents remain the same.

Quoter is to include literature on the Manufacturer’s Specifications & Safety Data Sheet with quote submission.

The signature below is a guarantee that the Quoter will not withdraw his/her quote for a period of 30 days after the scheduled quote due date.

Pursuant to Section 287.135(3)(b) of the Florida Statutes, Charlotte County may, at its sole option, terminate any Agreement in any amount

if the Contractor is found to have been placed on the Scrutinized Companies that Boycott Israel List, or is engaged in a boycott of Israel.

by any authorized party or agent, indemnify, hold harmless and, at Charlotte County’s option, defend Charlotte County, a political subdivision

of the State of Florida, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from all suits and actions, including attorney’s fees and all costs of

litigation and judgment brought against the County as a result of loss, damage or injury to person or property by reason of any act or failure

to act by the quoting firm, its agents, servants or employees.
