Bid for Southwest Connector

Separate, sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for the construction of the aforementioned project.

Bids will be received by the Coweta County Board of Commissioners, Coweta County Georgia, herein referred to as “Owner."

Bid Documents:

• Purchase Location: Coweta County Public Works Office (70 Selt Road, Newnan, GA 30263)
• Purchase Deadline: Until 10:45 a.m. (local time) on March 28, 2025

Bid Submission Deadline:

• Date: March 28, 2025
• Time: By 11:00 a.m. (local time)
• Submission Location: Coweta County Administration Building (22 East Broad Street, Newnan, GA 30263)

Public Opening of Bids:

• Time: After 11:00 a.m. on March 28, 2025
• Location: Commission Chambers (2nd floor of 37 Perry Street, Newnan, GA 30263)

Important Note: Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. All bids must be clearly marked and sealed. Major Items of Work:

1. Grading Complete: Clearing and Grubbing, Grading
2. Subgrade and Base Preparation to include Graded Aggregate Base
3. Asphalt Placement: Recycled Asphalt Concrete Superpave, 25MM, 19MM, 12.5 MM
4. Concrete Construction: Roundabout & Aprons, Curb & Gutter
5. Drainage: Storm-drain pipes and storm drainage structures
6. Landscaping: Landscaping per plans
7. Lighting: Lighting per plans
8. Temporary and Permanent Erosion Control
9. Temporary and Permanent Traffic Control
10. Roadside Treatments: Ditching, Vegetation Establishment

Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the County.

Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with current GDOT standards and specifications.
