Stand Exam Contract Package

Potential Contractor,

Here is our contract package for the 2026 stand exam plots on the Colville Reservation. There will be up to and not to

exceed 1,930 plots measured on an estimated 12,785 acres. Bids are due by May 4th, 2026. The final determination will

be dependent on the availability of funding and bid prices. The plots include variable spacing depending on the size of the

stand being measured, but the project averages one plot per seven acres. The Tribe anticipates a minimum of 5

experienced cruisers will be needed to complete this project in one field season.

This contract includes seven project areas in remote geographic locations scattered across the Reservation. A map and

spatial data of each project can be provided upon request. Please mail a thumb drive to the address listed below to

receive maps and spatial data.

To bid, please fill out the “Exhibit B” form and return to this office per instruction on the form. The following will be

required before final contract approval.

• Provide a bid price for each bid item.

• Provide a resume and work plan as required in the Exhibit B (digital version can be provided upon request).

• Provide proof of Sam.Gov registry.

• Provide proof of liability insurance.

Prospective Bidders: Please examine the attached contract. In addition, you may wish to visit the sites described and/or

contact Jeremy Hunt of the Colville Tribe at (509) 680-2144 or by email at Jeremy.Hunt.FOR@colvilletribes.com.

Completed bids are due at the close of business May 4th, 2026. Contract start work date could be after contract approval

and will go through the fall of 2026 (end date depending on weather conditions).

To complete the bid – fill out the form and return by mail to Attention: Colville Agency-BIA Forestry Administration, P.O. Box

111, Nespelem, WA 99155. Outside of envelopes containing bid forms should be clearly marked “Stand Exam Sealed Bids”

in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope. Bids can also be hand delivered to the Forestry Admin office in the Lucy

Covington Government Center.

Please include the following information with bid packets. The contractor must use Form 1 for bid submittal but can choose

to use a different format for all other forms.

FORESTRY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS.
