Summary

The Wildlife Hazard Remediation & North Employee Parking Lot Expansion Project aims to reduce wildlife hazards to aircraft at Tampa International Airport and expand the north employee parking lot to support future airport growth.

Background

This Project consists of the removal of approximately 155 acres of forested area that will be cleared, grubbed and graded resulting in a mowable surface. The project also includes the addition of 832 parking spaces to an existing asphalt parking lot for employees. Work includes drainage, asphalt paving, lighting, slurry seal of the existing parking lot, pavement markings and signs.

The mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the SkyCenter Boardroom, which is located on the fourth floor of the SkyCenter One Office Building at 5411 SkyCenter Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.

Parking for the public to access SkyCenter is in the parking garage directly next to SkyCenter. The gate arm of the parking garage will be in the raised position. Respondent will park on Level 5 or 6 of the parking garage. Respondents will not park in front of the SkyCenter building or the cell phone lot.
