Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ROOFS AT WELLS 7,8 AND THE BEECHER CENTER UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE DATE PUBLISHED: JANUARY 16, 2025 The United City of Yorkville will be accepting sealed proposals for replacement of roofs at Well 7 Treatment Plant, Well 8 Treatment Plant and Beecher Community Center at City Hall, located at 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville, Illinois 60560 until Wednesday, February 05, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Proposals will be open and read publicly on the same day and time at City Hall. Pre-Bid Conference There will be an optional pre-bid conference at Well 8, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on January 23, 2025, at which time staff will answer proposal questions and provide a tour of all the locations. Contractor’s representatives are encouraged to bring measuring devices, cameras and other portable equipment that will help them in calculating actual square footage of areas to be serviced under this proposal. The building tour schedule is as follows: 1. Well 8 Treatment Facility, 3299 Lehman Crossing, Yorkville IL at 10:05 AM 2. Beecher Community Center, 908 Game Farm Road, Yorkville IL at 11:00 AM 3. The UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE will receive proposals Monday thru Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. at Yorkville City Hall, 651 Prairie Pointe Drive, Yorkville, IL 60560. SPECIFICATIONS MUST BE MET AT THE TIME THE PROPOSAL IS DUE. The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive i n f o r m a l i t i e s o r technicalities and to accept or reject any item of any proposal. Contractor Qualifications The Contractor must be experienced in providing said services. Submitters that cannot demonstrate successful previous experience in the work to be provided in this proposal will be considered not responsible and will not be considered for award of contract. The contractor must possess (own or rent) and /or assure the availability of sufficient equipment, meeting the requirements that follow, to successfully pursue the work in this proposal.
