Bid Synopsis:	The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), Wisconsin Veterans Home at Union Grove (WVH-UG), requests Bids for the purchase the Services of Licensed Master Plumbers/Steamfitters, Licensed Journeyman Plumber/Steamfitters, and plumbing/steamfitter apprentices and/or laborers to maintain and repair the plumbing & heating/cooling system at its facilities. The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Union Grove, located in Racine County WI, is a multi-building long term care facility that offers skilled nursing care for veterans and their eligible spouses/dependents. The campus is composed of two residence halls including Gates and Boland Halls. Fairchild Hall, which primarily houses veterans participating in DVA's Veterans Housing and Recovery Program (VHRP) and Shemanske Hall, containing a Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The campus also has various other DVA out-buildings. All buildings need regular maintenance for continued operations, and require periodic plumbing and steamfitting maintenance and repair for heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
