The purpose of the project is to restore force main redundancy for the Herondo Street Pumping Plant and consists of the construction of approximately 1,365 feet 10-inch diameter high-density polyethylene (HDPE) force main and appurtenant structures.  The project also includes rehabilitation of the existing wet well, modifications to the bypass manhole (30 0324) and the discharge manhole, and additional upgrades to the existing plant to replace appurtenances that have reached their useful life.
